Brought my parents- who have verrrry high and particular standards and expectations for Asian food- and they loved it. The family is soooo kind and wonderful. We ordered half a duck- my folks, from Vegas, were shocked how inexpensive ($18 for half duck), flavorful and meaty it was. We also got steamed duck wings and pig ears for my folks. To my Asian friends- the aunties and uncles will approve! ”

“ I stopped at this shop while visiting my daughter in Denver. Coming from Houston where we have some of the U.S.'s best Chinese food (outside of NYC and San Francisco) and some of the best Vietnamese food (outside of southern California), my daughter told me to lower my food expectations. Fortunately for my daughter, someone in a FB group recommended this place for good and authentic Cantonese food. My daughter was a very happy camper when I brought back char siu, roast pork, roast duck and beef flat rice noodle for her. The meats seemed leaner than what I'm used to but the flavors were all there. I used the bonier pieces of the duck to make stock for rice porridge for her before I left. If you're Cantonese, you'll understand ”
“ Just moved here and finding good Cantonese food is challenging. We happened upon this while going to H Mart. A small hole in the wall. Limited seating (3 tables inside and some outside). Most come to buy their roast duck to take out. We had beef chow fun which was delicious. Also ordered the duck congee. We have been here twice and would come again to try something else. ”

“ It's pretty awesome we have a location in Aurora that serves Hong Kong BBQ. It can be a hit or miss depending on the day and how busy they are. The only inconsistency I have experienced is the size of how big the pieces of the duck are cut in. Sometimes they're huge and other times they're pretty slim and great. The flavor is usually pretty great. If you go early and want to try something different, we always ask if they have pipa roast duck. The difference may be subtle if you're new but we like it better and they're one of the few locations that sells it. Otherwise, the other items on the menu are delicious like the char siu or the roast pork belly or the pig intestines. The owners and staff are pretty friendly. They speak Cantonese and understand my elementary level. ”
“ Stopped in for a whole roast duck. Walked out with a whole roast duck and a rack of Asian BBQ pork ribs. The roast duck was delicious. The meat was juicy, tender, and well-seasoned. This is not a crispy duck, so if you're looking for crispy skin, I don't think you'll find that here. The BBQ pork ribs were just ok. The flavor was excellent. But some of the pieces were dry. Not all of it, just some of the pieces. I probably would go with the BBQ pork instead of the ribs next time to see if that's more moist. ”

I am very happy to have found New Canton and have returned multiple times to order just that. I am a fan of their roast duck, which in my experience has always had flavorful skin and a good amount of meat on the bone. I haven't purchased just meat to go, but I'm sure I will sometime in the future. This is a reliable place to grab some bbq meat based dishes and they're super fast and efficient about getting your food to you. There's a small space inside to eat if that's what your feeling, and tables outside during the summer as well. I will be returning to order the same thing I always do, the food is delicious and consistent. ”
